"The button portraits started with a single jar of buttons and birth of my first grandchild. I decided to create button portraits of five generations of women in my family. Each button is affixed to aluminum screening with triple knotted monofilament. I recently completed my son Ethan's portrait. Next will be my grandson...and so it goes.”
